A compact version of the #0426 SABERCAT VERSIPACK. Carry it by hand, strap it around your waist, or attach it to your Maxpedition® bag. The compact Proteus Versipack is all about options. Named after a mythological character that could take on many shapes and forms, the Proteus has 10 rows of exterior PALS webbing to accommodate modular accessories and comes equipped with compression straps that snap into its integral handle to secure contents. This is a great bag to have when setting forth on your odyssey. It transforms from a hand-carried storage case into a self-contained buttpack in less than 5 seconds.
