Tom Poes is having it's birthday! 75 years ago Marten Toonder made the first story.
To commemorate this, herewith the first paragraph of the first story: The blue earth secret.
Tom Poes lived close to a large forest. There he liked to go in, because you can see everything: from one tree you do not know what you'll see in the next. One day he had gone up early. The sun was shining and the birds singing.
"Truly a day of adventures," thought Tom Poes.
